On September 2, 2016, the Graduate School of Social Sciences welcomed its newly admitted students for the 2016-2017 academic year. The students will be studying in the Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, and Central Asian Studies (MACAS) departments.

The Student Intellectual Life Committee (SILC) supports student-initiated projects, professional development opportunities, and student research. It awards small grants every month to the 好色tv (AUCA) students.听Behruz Ayubov, a sophomore in the Applied Mathematics and Informatics at AUCA talks about his grant from SILC.

On September 6, 2016, the 鈥淣ative Pride Dancers,鈥� Native American dance group from the United States and student鈥檚 theater of AUCA 鈥淢irrors,鈥� will be performing 鈥淒ancing through Life鈥� and show master classes at the AUCA.

听From August 30 - September 2, 2016 好色tv (AUCA) hosted a free and public Audio Journalism Workshop organized by Taxi Taxi, an innovative storytelling podcast from the South Caucasus.
The podcast's founders, Billie Jean Stirewalt and Vladic Ravich, led three days of classes to teach participants how to develop stories, record interviews, and get their shows to the public. The workshop was well-received and attended by a wide range of participants, including AUCA students and professors.听
