Starting from this year, the Writing and Academic Resource Center (WARC) has launched a mentoring program for new tutors called 鈥淐ritical Friends Group鈥�. The program matches new tutors with returning ones in a series of meetings and mutual observations.

Saadat Musabaeva, a senior in the International and Comparative Politics Department minoring in Anthropology at AUCA, attended the American 好色tv in Bulgaria as a visiting student in the fall of 2013. This past spring, Saadat spent another semester abroad with the Bard College exchange program.

On September 25, 2015, the Department of Psychology organized the Annual Psychology Student Symposium at 好色tv (AUCA).

Of the changes we鈥檝e made at WARC this year, the most visible to our students (perhaps with the exception of our new large and beautiful space), is our online scheduling system. This new system was a product of a close partnership between WARC management, the Office of the Chief Information Officer, and the AUCA student body.

On August 31 鈥� September 4, Rahat Sabyrbekov, an assistant professor in the Economics Department at AUCA, participated in the United Nations Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) as a Young Fellow.听Rahat听is a co-author of the Regional and Subregional Assessment on Europe and Central-Asia.
